why an SC
1. Not a "me too" car, a '95 SC turns heads....you don't drive around and see too many of them. 2. My first car was a Supra, that car ran forever, great car. 3. Every review you read (on sites like the Kelley Blue Book Site and MSN Autos) all you hear are raves. 3. I can't afford a Mercedes SLR McLaren (MSPR $495,000). 4. It's a Lexus
i love mine because it looks better than all the new alien like design cars on the road, also because its a luxury manual coupe with a bullet proof engine. Whats not to like about them? If people say sc's are overrated, then IS300 should be in the dumpster.
I got mine because of the price and what you get for that price...
they look FREAKING amazing, and are pretty quick.
For example... my buddy bought a 240...for 8 grand its an inline 4 with some mods done, has about 198 hp.... the interior is cloth... doesnt have power anything Cept steering and windows... and just feels cheaply built, Looked boring before he put the $1800 body kit
i bought my SC for $4800 has amazing interior, Power EVERYTHING, cool little gadets like a power tinting mirror, memory seats and heated side mirrors etc etc.
The body is AMAZINGLY sporty, and if had countless people comment on how nice it looks. the paint is flawless, it looks like a true sports car, has tons of power being that is a v8, my car can easily keep up with most of todays little sports cars.
All and all its the complete package.... i cant tell you how many times we will be heading out to an event or something, and people will Fight over who gets to ride with me... even tho we roll around with built drift machines pushing 300-500 horsepower along with some supras and other higher end exotic imports.... yet they still fight and argue who will ride in MY car... even tho is pretty much bone stock engine wise and is over 15 years old
I will never own anything other then an SC
Prior to my purchase, a year ago, never considered an SC. Have always admired it from a distance but never considered it because it's a coupe and looks too sporty.
Was on the market to buy a car (ES300, Mercedes, etc) and came across an sc300 at an Acura dealership. Thought to myself, no hurt in testing driving her. After that test drive, started scouring North America for a low mileage SC300. The only problem now, after the purchase, is my infatuation with her

Was looking for my first car (was driving dad's tercel), when I found her I had never seen anything like it. It looked so sleek and clean in the ad. Went out and testdrove it, took her home the next day
