Default Question about foglights

I've only had my SC for around a month, and I've been looking around a lot...and from what I've read...

The 95-96 SC came with foglights right? Like normal *** working light emitting foglights and not stupid turning lights?

I have a '92 and I want foglights...really bad. So all I need to do is find a 95-96 right? I can wire the lights to a seperate switch or whatever...just making sure that that's what I need...

What I did was purchase a rocker switch, red wire black wire and a fuse holder.

Then wired like this:

Fog Light -> Red Wire > Rocker Switch -> Red Wire -> Fuse Holder -> Positive Battery
Fog Light -> Black Wire -> Negative Battery

Works like a charm and can all be bought at radio shack

At least you found out sooner then I did. When I first got my 92 sc4, I was like where's the switch to the foglights. Then I realize they were just turning lights when I saw the reflection off a car next to me. LMFAO! I'm gonna do mine soon too haha

Looking for a fog switch is something every Sc owner does that doesn't get a manual with their car, but even more funny is the remote door lock switch being turned off and people replacing the entire keyless and factory alarm to get remote doors........ when they could have reach down and flipped the switch on. ROFl.........

Whats also funny is that the 95-96 housings won't fit in the 92-94 spot without modification. And if you think you are going to get true fogs with just turning both of the turning lights on at the same time you are wrong. They point to the side. So the only way to get them to be fogs is with a bit of housing modification.

That looks pretty good, but I'm looking for light output because I'm planning to put HIDs into them as well.

save $$ and just modify the turn signals...and later on just upgrade to a 97 front with real fogs

I did the mod on mine. I love it!! Remember they are turning lights so if youre looking for straight light output then this is not going to hep much. If your going with HID then its all u need plus this mod

Well aren't the 95-96 real foglights? I'm planning on putting those in with HIDs.
