my key wont come out the ignition i had to remove the battery in order for me to remove the key out the ignition. can i get some help on how to solve this problem please.

 

make sure your transmition is in park. There is sensor at shifter if it does not sense that the car is in park will not let you remove the key. Now pull down that plastic pice under shifter remove the screws and remove shifter. Next remove the shifter plate and remove two connectors. Now you want to remove black plastic that sits on top of shifter now you can see what is wrong with tha sensor.

did you remove the shifter [assuming its automatic] maybe the screw that holds it in place is in to much it happend to me.
