help! shifter button broke
so, while at lunch, I tried to park and my key got stuck in the ignition, it wouldn't release from the slot while I was in park. I thought it was the steering wheel, so I tried moving it to the left and right and it still wouldn't release my key, even after reparking a few times. Now the shifter button finally broke (it was cracked before, but now it's officially un-usable) after I finally got it to release the key from the ignition
Any idea on how to fix this or replace it? I couldn't find anything on ebay or googling it, maybe I dont know the right term for this part. Thanks in advance!
edit: Sorry, I forgot to include that my car is a 1995 sc300 (automatic)

Easy. You see the bottom plastic part under the shifter, under the leather part? Get a flathead and pry it down, the plastic part will sink and reveal two philips head screws. Remove them both and the shifter comes off and cant be used normally but will look all mechanical lol. Then buy new shifter and install.
awesome! Thank you for the reply and solution
Do you happen to know any cheap alternatives other than oem used ones on ebay that are going for around $90? There's no junkyard near me either :/

If the shifter was that cheap, I would have bought one a long time ago. A busted up one is at least $75 on eBay, and here on CL, well, they are far and in between.
