Clean engine bay ftw! It's so much of a difference with just 15 mins of work!

Great job guy's!

Look's fantastic!

How's that W58 holding up? What kind of fluid did you put in the trans?

I'd shake that Royal Purple...

Thanks. The W58 is doing fine. I have GM syncromesh in it and it feels pretty good.

Hey Brian. I did Biggu's NSS bypass on my SC and compared the wiring to my brother's 95 since I am swapping out his auto to a W58 soon. If you want I can do it on your car. Just give me a call.

That would be awesome! If you're free next weekend, I'd love your help. I'll give you a call this week.

This was my first swap too. It took a friend and I about a week and a half working 5-6 hours a day to do. I could say I'm satisfied for now, but I'll be adding a boost controller and tuning soon. Its definitely a fun daily driver though.

Hey Brian just wanna say your swap looks really great! all your pictures you took made it look so easy. I will be attempting the same thing once i get a sc300. i think if i tried it on my 400 it would be a lot difficult. unless someone thinks otherwise and i'll take that under consideration. But anyways... I'm curious to know which wires you had to extend, and were the wires from the 1j harness or your NA 2j?

People do 400's sometimes, but I think the wiring is a little different. As for the extending of the wires, for a 300, you just extend all the wiring going through the firewall about 18 inches. You don't NEED to extend the ECU plugs, but I wish I did, but now my ECU sits way up under the glove box. I'm sure its pretty similar for the 400, maybe just swap some pins or something.
