okay, so after looking all over, i'm desperate.

My speedometer doesn't work, odometer does, haven't been able to find a shop manual for my sc, anyone know how to test the cluster?

Transmission is giving an error code (3-6) i beleive, which means 3 bad transmission solenoids. it works, but seems to skip second gear under hard acceleration. (revs hard, then bogs) and reluctantly downshifts at speed,

I don't have much experience with auto trans.. are these internal, or external, and how hard would it be to change them? or would it be easier to get a new gearbox?

 

thigh bone connected to the hip bone. If your tranny is boned, your speedo will be also.

 

i highly doubt you have three bad sol. at one time i would check for a broken trans harness wires touching ground. also check your trans fluid for metal large metal shavings and a burnt smell

 

check out http://techinfo.toyota.com It costs 10 bucks for a one day subscription, they have every shop manual for Lexus, Toyota, and Scion in PDF format. Look over the tutorial it will save some time. You can save everything and print it out. Good luck.
