Just get brand new LS caliper bolts. They retailed for ~$1.50 per bolt. If your local lexus dealer tries to jack up the price, go to a toyota dealer instead. The part number should be 90105-12228. It's so cheap that you shouldn't even have to think twice about it. Skip the spacers.

i shaved the rim of the shield....keep the shield there...it absorbs heat and blocks a good amount of dust/debris from your brakes.

hmm I hope I don't have this scraping issue and have to grind them... That would suck.

Got the calipers painted and ready to go along with the pads. Just waiting on the rotors to get here. Then i'll head to toyota and grab those bolts. Oh yea and the stickers =P

What color did you paint them? And if it does scrape just use hedge clippers

i'm trying to use the '95 LS400 calipers/rotors and the auto parts store keeps asking me if my car was manufactured before or after march 1995. will both fit as long as the rotor/calipers r compatible?

tell em "after" march. the newer the better. the LS range for the conversion is 95-00 anyway. hell, tell him 1999 calipers.

I did the brakes this weekend. They did fit BUT it was easier to do it when we shaved it a little... only took a few seconds.
