Default 97 conversion questions

I am wanting to try to make my sc3 look decent. What do you guys think of a 98 conversion? Was also looking at the Behrman/Wise sports full lip lit for the 98 conversion, but cant find it in the US. Let me know guys.

The biggest face lift you can do to your car is to get a 97+ front bumper and tail lights.

If that is not good enough, you can always get serious with an AC kit

Throw some cleans wheels on. I think I'm keeping my body stock (for right now) but I'd like the 97+ body or a clean body kit.

IMO Rims and a drop would be a good start.

I agree with xx69xx. All I have on my SC300 is some 18's and eibach lowering springs

I read this thread the other day. This might help you whenever you decide to do the upgrade.

I hope this helps

Default 97 conversion questions

When doing a 97+ facelift on a 1995 SC300, do you need any special brackets or things of that nature from the 97+ car? Does every thing just kind of bolt right on? So basically, can I do the face lift if I just have a 97+ Bumpercover,97+ Fog lights and 97+Grille? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I did look at that post that shows you all the lexus part numbers for all the stuff, but no one specifically said if you need brackets or not.

You need the 97+ foam bumper support or you can just modify your existing one.

Look At the Thread below.... It has a complete list of parts and prices that you need for the swap. I'm eventually doing the same thing

Don't throw on wheels without a lowering it first. 4x4 SC is not a pretty scene.
