Sup guys! i'm from oklahoma and there has been many car jackings and break ins here lately, mostly hondas... i was wondering if theres alot of sc owners that got their sc broken into or jacked...

 

Nope. If they get past the dogs, they have to get past the security cameras and if they get past the security cameras they won't get past ME. 6 yrs and counting on my SC and it hasn't been touched unless I invited you to do so.

 

never yet...and i only get stock alarm!!! but i've only had it for a month...

Old Soarer: Some twit tried to break in (seems like they used a screwdriver) and attacked the B-pillar with no luck... so I was stuck with a buldging passenger's B-pillar. This was parked on the street outside of where I used to go to college.

Current Soarer: No break-in attempts but has been vandalised 3 times (3x key scratches... big ones at that).

 

have had a 92 since it was released never broken into, and now have 2, no issues at all, but i still put a nice after market alarm on anyway just in case.

 

heh..sounds like a challenge..what do i get if i put a post it on your SC?

Never had the 400 or 300 broken into. Usually parked in my driveway blocked by 2 other cars. There are several cameras around the house/driveway. I'm usually up really late anyway. A good alarm helps too. Viper 5900 FTW

 

my mustang got jacked when i lived in tucson.

where i live now there is no crime. our police are only used to write parking tickets and accident reports.

honestly they are kind of useless around here (ex...got pulled over for no front plate...when i had a front plate. the cop didnt see it because it was mounted on the driver's side and covered in salt during winter. lol) thats all they do

 

If you can get past my gate, into my garage, without the alarm going off, while not waking me up, and rob my car (or take the whole car) then I guess you'd be THAT damn good. If I do wake up, which I most certainly will, well I'm not only pretty well trained in MMA (have my first fight coming up), but I have a very large arsenal of guns (Glock, Desert Eagle), assault rifle (M&P 15), shotgun (Mossberg). It's never happened to me, but a criminal would be much wiser to try for the next SC he finds, not mine. LOL.

LOL, yeah, he could do that I suppose. He'd have better luck with stripping everything outta the car, than taking the whole thing though. There's a fuel pump switch that you need to turn on for the car to start, that's assuming you get past the alarm, which also has the starter kill wired into the fuel pump instead, so if it's still armed, the car won't be going anywhere. Of course you could also come with a flatbed and all the above problems are solved! 8-)
