Default Brakes

I changed my brakes, rotors and brake calipers everything works fine except when i step on the brakes, my cousin says the whole caliper moves a little bit when the brakes bite. All the bolts are tighten, is it because maybe one of the bushings that the caliper assembly sits on is bad?

the caliper shouldnt be sitting on any bushings. it is connected by a slide pin that allows the caliper to move back and forth (in and out if looking at the wheel) to clamp on the rotor. Is it making any odd noises? If it is just sliding towards and away from you when looking at the wheel from the side, then it is normal. Thats just how a sliding caliper works. now if you had a fixed caliper like the ls400's or supra tt's then youd have a problem.

i would just double check the torque specs of everything from the bracket to the slide pins, if they check out you should be ok. You will get some deflection but it shouldnt be enough to see it without being right next to it the whole time.

you have a problem sir. the caliper should not "move" when it bites the rotor. not enough to actually see with the naked eye. make sure everything is tightened.
