coolant flush

Default coolant flush

so im doing a coolant flush and i just a tripped... wheres the opening for the radiator, so i can pour in coolant ? or do i just put it in the coolant tank ?

if ur doing a flush there should be something on the under side of the radiator, drain it from there, then pour new coolant in the radiator itself untill its full. If im not mistaken the lil plastic tank thing is just an over flow resivor.

lol.. **** i was used to civics and integras with a hole on top of the radiator to pour in coolant, im just gonna put it in the reservoir then, thanks.

well if ur doing a real coolant flush arent u gonna drain the radiator? if u do u gonna need to fill it back up. To do that u put it in the radiator itself.


to do that remove the radiator cap. should be on top.

the only cap i got is on the tank itself, theres no cap on the radiator, thats what got me in the beggining like where the **** am i gonna pour it in the radiator from, i drained it all and everything, just got stuck on where im gonna put the coolant in the radiator itself. theres no hole

looks like that... the rubber hose that is attached to it should lead u to the plastic overflow tank.

nope i actually cant, theres some engine bay pics in this performance forum. looks like the ones without any opening on top of the radiator.

if u dont have a cap , i guess the only way u can do is put it in the tank..

directly into the reservoir.. >.<. forgive my stupidity. really didnt know if it was into the radiator like how im used to.
