Default Coilover Setup...How do you have your set?

Guys -

I am setting up my Megans tonight and wanted to see how some have been setup here with adjustments to the spring perch and adjustments to the lower nut for height adjustment.

I know it is all personal preference but wanted to see some thoughts on how you guys set it up. I want a snug fit with the 18s and going with a upper/middle setting on damping since I will be daily driving the car for a little while.

How low on the front and back did you adjust the height to?
Did you compress the spring perch any?

when i do my coilovers i use the "max one finger" rule. that is you can only fit one finger...snugly, between the fender and the wheel. as far as setting i would go somewhere in the middle also.

this is how we roll in chi-town....during the winter.

this is my buddies fc slammed on stance coilovers

im saving up right now for stance too and it will look the same way once finished :

when i got my megans, i first set them to full soft. it rode like stock, very nice. but i would actually like it stiffer, so i'm going to put them about 12-15 and see how it is. i haven't done it yet because it's been snowing and i've been driving my jeep.
on my megans, the spring perch doesn't compress when adjusting height. the threaded part goes down into the body of the lower housing, which is nice because it doesn't affect ride or spring rate no matter how low you go.

^^ car looks good.. like the stance...
What exactly is the difference between the coilovers for the supra and the sc300? Adjustability? I don't think it would be spring rate or maybe??

the supra coilovers sit lower, I'm nowhere near close to the bottom of the shocks

I don't see how it would sit lower with the supra application since they share the same part numbers:

Model Number : MR-CDK-LS3

Ya many companies save on costs that way, but they may implement the best compromise for both applications.
