Default engine temp question

In my car on a normal day the temperature gauge reads right in the middle of H and C...lately though the engine gets up to operating temperatures, then ends up back down about one dot above C.

Coolant temp sensor? to me that just seems really odd.

any other odd behavior? Just wondering if there are any effects of this or no. Mine is bucking but it threw a MAF code so I'm pretty sure that's where that problem is coming from.

Nah it'll go to half way, then move up a hair, then go back down. I check coolant in her all the time, I'm pretty sure I bled her right.

you know what I actually realized today...

mine is bucking bad due to a MAF problem or a misfire for whatever reason...well I think that reason is it's running SOOOO rich. andSOOOO rich means a not very hot engine.

I could be way off but that's my guess on my car.

First thing that comes to mind is the thermostat. A bad thermostat shouldn't cause bucking, but you should be getting some pretty crappy gas mileage.
Maybe a combo of bad thermostat/maf.
