been looking for a lip for 3 years but can't bring myself to giving a stealer $900 for a piece of rubber!! if u don't mind me asking what was you cost?

i think theyre typically around 200, give or take 100

The lip is sc400 specific. I think it's more like $450 for a new oem lip with all the brackets.

From Carson it is 400 without the brackets....

450 still a hell of a lot better than the 800+ they wanted up here in canada!!!
but still crazy for a piece of rubber LOL

no i meant the cost of the lip, I don't think I would pay more than $10 for brackets. I mean anyone can bent a piece of sheetmetal and call it a bracket.
I would just do it myself

oh and I meant used price is 200 +/- 100. search the classifieds, they usually go between 180-300

No brackets necessary, although I do have them...ehehe

1.The 8 or so outside edge screws can be reused to hold the lip in place, from both sides.
2.Then we used zipties to hold the center on tight
3.Then we used Loc-Tite heavy duty double sided tape on the top sides of the lip.

It isn't going anwhere.

Total time= 20min with an extra set of hands to help.

your license plate thing bugs me , but the lip looks good on there. it amazes me how much of a difference it makes.

Didn't want to start a new thread... Anyone got instructions on the lip install? I even have the foam wedges but have no clue where those go....
