Default interior seat recover question.

my seats in my sc are absolute hideous n in need to be reupholstured or replaced.
i know some people have put the supra seats wich look hella nice .
problem is i never find them locally or on ebay at a reasonable price .
now heres my Question, has any one ever attempted to put the newer celica gts seats in their sc ? my only concern is if they sit to low would i have to make a custom bracket or so. idk just like theyre design and i think if they get upholstered in leather to match the rears they would look as good as the supra seats .

Searching is your friend
linky

Way too expensive to reupholster IMO, mind as well buy some real racing seats for that price. BTW I see supra seats on this forums classifieds section all the time!

haha! that is a coincidence. i was gonna switch my sisters 2000 celica seats into my sc. but i kno it doesnt match my interior. the positive of the celica seats is they do hold u in place. but i dunno how leather would affect it. so maybe keep the middle section as a fabric.
then tell me how it goes so i can attepmpt to switch it also

Lol that old problem- there's a lever INSIDE of the seat- it's hidden. You have push around the top of the seat and feel for it. You push it in and the headrest pops up. It's on the opposite side of the one that's visible which you'll also need to have pushed in. There's a thread on supraforums about it that i'll try to find.
