bumpy ride after lowering?
i just wanted to know how the car is after lowering it
i have a 96 sc300 and i'm thinking about putting tokico struts and eibach springs on, but i didn't want to if it would leave me with a super bumpy ride :-(
i just wanted to get an opinion from everyone that's done it.
thanks :-)

I have Eibach and Tokico combo on my '95 SC400. On a smooth road, I can't feel any differences compare to the stock ride except, my car handles a lot better and corners better. However, on a bumpy road, my car is bumpier than the stock ride. Something you would expect when you are modifying your suspension, right? I can live with the bumpier ride because my car handles a lot better than the stock ones with the suspension mods and 17" rims.

Progressive springs should give you a smooth ride on normal road.
well i have that on my 400
i really like it ... im not the bit displeased...
it did what i wanted it to do ...
but it will make it a lil more bumpy...
but for the most part its good
but not all good things come for free...
sometimes you gotta sacrifice something
for something else you want that you dont have

I don't have the exact figure but around $300 for Eibach Pro kit, $300 for Tokico struts (front and rear) and $200 for installation. Damn, $800 for everything, I should've got Tein HA for that kind of money.

Here is my plan:
-Supra TT Eibach Pro. It drops more than the Lexus Eibach Pro kit
-KYB AGX adjustable shocks (it's only 99 bucks at tirerack.com) so I can adjust how stiff it is
-18" rims. I am thinking about 18x8 in front and 18x9.5 in rear.
