yea there are so many jdm cars in canada, but one of my friend who exports cars from Japan told me the cars being imported into canada are basically ones they cant sell in Japan, ive heard that lots of them need at least their turbos rebuilt.

In Canada, only a couple of major cities Vancouver and Toronto have emmissions testing. Everywhere else there are no smog laws.

The main hoop to jump through is you must have DOT stamped headlights. Thats easy if you get a soarer or something that has a north american equivalent.

That red soarer is nice. I remember when it was for sale at Calasecond. They have a connection at the DMV in WA state who is somehow registering imports that are coming from Japan to Canada and then into the US. They have done some R32 Skylines as well. They had a buyer in WA state for my GTR but they low balled me too much.

And yes there are SO many crappy cars coming into Canada through auctions and shady importers/exporters. I know for a fact lots have shoddy body work, rolled back odo, etc etc. Lots of people trying to make a quick buck.

I think you should definitely look at getting a Soarer. Granted any Skyline would be an awesome vehicle to own as well. I just love the body lines on the Soarer, though. As far as the RHD's that have come from WA, the ones I have seen, and by no means have I seen all of them. Some have been sneaked into the country, and a lot have been nearly impossible to register. Those that have been registered have been done so incorrectly. If you are seriously looking into getting a Soarer, we are able to obtain what you are after. Dude getting it is easy I can get a soarer just as easy as getting a civic si with rotas ahahahha. Just registering is nuts. I mean ive seen a Nissan Gloria go to AAA and get registered as a 60 something nissan haha No smog. But if his car gets stolen crash ect its worth next to nothing total loss. and if you cant go that route there paper work and paper work and blah blah blah. any car that comes to the Us complete it is considered a race car it can never be registered and a bond is put on it. Like most s15s and stuff you see on the track. After the bond is up you have to crush it. Ive seen people get by doing sneaky things but it can cost you alot. but none of those cars ever got registered. I mean Its very possible Super super super hard tho. only car you can do legit without to much hassle is R33 skyline since those are dot approved and such

If you're crafty, there are ways around it. I have 3 Skyline GTR's...2 R32, and one R34 (yes the mighty R34 GTR that's "impossible" to get). I know how to pull it off, as do a few other people, but the people who know, including myself, never wanna let the secret out. Otherwise everyone will do it and we all get shafted in the end.

Hahaha sweet I hope you feel cool because you have the MIGHTY r34 hahaha. I used to work at rb motoring and a good friend of mine worked at motorex and rb motoring he knows all the Legit ways to get it done and right. like I said theres a bunch of random cars that are registered. Its just hard you are in GA that says it all Im pretty sure anything you did wouldnt fly in Ca. Ive been around skylines all day worked on em there crap its a 240sx with extra and more expensive parts not worth it imo unless you can work on them yourself, and even then there still crap with overpriced parts. and if you have a GTS then your wasting your time and money that is basically a 240sx ahahha. There are plenty of R34 chillin in alot of places I can go to a place in Ca right now that probably has 3 or 4 of them. There is no super secret method haha everything is out in the open if people are willing to do the research and test their luck. Ive worked on cars that you see on tv and i can probably findout where the cars you have came from too. So try someone else next time you want to be Mr cool Namedropper that knows everything

Umm..I wasn't namedropping anything retard, but I guess since you "worked on skylines" Im supposed to be impressed now. You're not the only one that works on cars, I've done more than my fair share. Anyway, I'm not gonna have a ***** war with you, because it's pointless. I find it really interesting how such a "seasoned" skyline tech like yourself would say that those cars are such a waste of time, with overpriced parts, when the motors are not only easy/cheap to get, but the parts aren't any more expensive than what you see for a Supra. Also, the GTS being a "piece of crap", well, 3 of my customers have those making 650whp on the STOCK BLOCK RB25, without even cracking the head open for ARP's. Since you worked for RB Motoring, and getting an R34 is so easy, and can be done by doing some research on the internet, then please tell me how to get an R34 into the US, and get a US title for it? I'd like to hear your easy method. You worked on cars that are on TV? Whose car did you tune? I wanna know who you are so deep rooted with in the import community. Just curious... BTW, contrary to what you MIGHT think, you have absolutely no clue of where anything I own came from... (and you call me the namedropper that knows everything, lol) Get a grip.

Hahah your the one on here trying to tell everyone what you have. 650whp gts with a 25 in it can be easily done in a 240 like i said same thing. And im sure gtr parts are all over the place right you tell me what junkyard you can buy a rb starter or a gtr tessa pump and and i will be amazed. Ive worked on the only skyline in the world Gt sersies. means nothing I dont know everything and Ive never said there was an easy way to get cars registerd if you had done some reading you would see that i said it was quite difficult and a waste of time IMO. Getting the ar here is no problem needs to have no drivetrain attatched. the hard part is the registration. I help a personal friend who is a professional drifter. I help him alot. I dont sit here and pretend to know everything. But you post on here like you are some sort of VIP and have a r34 oh wow man your so cool. and say I have blah blah blah registered I know all the ways to do that. I never said i knew everything I am just telling peope what I do know and my opinion on the situation THATS ALL. Dont even waste your time responding

I can get those parts no problem, in a matter of a day or so. Actually, spare parts for RB's are easy to come by, but for you to even suggest "junkyard" is ridiculous. I cant even get a starter for a DSM in a junkyard because all the parts have already been ravaged, let alone one for a skyline, so that's just an overblown statement. In refernce to your "driveline needs to be removed", that's wrong. I'm not gonna go any further than that, but every car I have came in as a WHOLE car, and was never disassembled, although that's a nice common misconception. So you help a personal friend that's a pro drifter? For what series, FD, Nopi? Are you on his crew? Just curious since I ran both of those this year. I posted like I was some sorta "VIP" and because I'm so cool..? I simply stated my experience, and gave my .02 on getting one, seeing how I've done it 3X over. You interpreted it how you wanted to.

Ernie? Jacob? Wes? I know all 3 of them. I couldn't even understand what you wrote about FD, but it looked like you typed something about it "hasn't ran". Not sure about that, but I attended events with my provisional.
