suspension advice please

Unhappy suspension advice please

I have a 92 sc 3. and its all over the place.It has 112,000 miles I got it checked out at. the dealer. They said there were no visible leaks on the struts. Everytime I hit the smallest bump The front scrapes the bottom pan that notoriously hangs down on many sc's. I live in chicago where bumps and pot holes are a dime a dozen. I dont want the car lowered I just want a cushioned ride the softer the better.

Any advice is good advice. Thank you fellow members.

Sounds like your springs are starting to sag.

Yes, sounds like you perhaps have a soft set of springs and while you are at it change the struts as well. Is the car already lowered? Or is it stock?

I have a stock suspension. I do not wish to lower my car. should I replace struts and springs or are structs enough. also can you mix and match strut and spring sets.

If you want to keep the stock height, replace with stock springs. I would advise replacing the struts at the same time to save big $$ down the road for installation costs.

YOur choice of spring/strut combos is your call. But if you like stock, keep it all OEM.

I lived in Detroit for awhile;now I know why they make SUVs.
I moved back to a state where they have roads,and I don't have as many problems with suspensions.
I put a set of '94 Supra springs and shocks on my car here a couple weeks ago,and now it doesn't porpoise up and down like it used to,sits at very close to stock height.The shocks actually feel softer over the smaller bumps than the OEM parts did,and the rears had just been replaced recently!
Just a thought.

Let me know if your interested in buying OEM factory springs/struts - suspension for your car. I know I can help...We are able to get performance parts as well as factory OEM parts.
