Default Wald Executive Kit

Guys,

Someone please give me a definitive answer. Is the Wald Executive kit a lip kit or full kit.

Basically I have a 97 front with 93 sides and rear. I was told that if I wanted the wald executive kit, i would either have to get a 93 front to match my 93 rear, or else a 97 rear to match my 97 front as they offer a 92-96 kit and a 97+ kit.

Someone please let me know!!!

Jonny

I believe Wald is a lip kit

There's one made for 92-96 and for 97+

I'm at work right now so I dont have the link, but it's on that intellectual site

So then to make it work I would have to either buy a 97 Rear or a 93 Front?

Wald has a 97+ lip kit that fits over the stock body of newer cars.

They also have a kit for older cars but the front lip on that one is actually a full bumper made to look like a lip add-on.

So yeah, you'd have to pick which route to take. I say do the 97 conversion and then add the newer lip kit.

By the time I do that may as well get the AC kit and be done with it.

Well since you already have the 97 front bumper all you would need is the Wald front lip sides and rear bumper. www.japanparts.com sells the pieces seperate. I haven't done any business with them so I'm not sure about customer service etc they were very helpful with their email responses when I was looking into getting the wald from them.

The parts were $900. The freight was $1200 So that's a negative!

Well from what I understand the rear is different. So if I get a 97+ kit it won't fit on my 93 rear? IS this wrong?

You're still all confused...no worries...here's the final answer:

The rears on the 92-96 Wald kits is the same as 97+.

Since you have a 97+ front bumper already, just order a 97+ Wald kit. You will get the following:
1) Front lip add-on
2) Sides
3) Full rear bumper replacement (doesn't matter if you have a 93 or a 97 bumper, you'll have to remove it completely to install this kit).

Again, here are the 2 types of Wald Kits:
1) 92-96 style - includes FULL front bumper + sides + FULL rear bumper
2) 97-00 style - includes front LIP + sides + FULL rear bumper

So, the only difference between the 2 is whether you have a 92-96 front bumper or 97-00 front bumper. I hope that clears it up now...

Thank you sir Luis at Carson told me that the rear is different so that is why I was confused. Are you 100% sure the rear and sides are the same?

Thanks again man,
Jonny

Yeah, 92-96 would give a spot for a 97+ grill if you like to keep the old fog lights from your 92-96...

I am almost 100% certain that the sides & rear are the same because why would they make different sides & rears anyways since they are full replacements. Only the front was changed...

My car is a 92 and I ordered the 97+ Wald kit...I also had 97 front + 92 sides/rear...worked out for me

All this talk and no pictures...here's some when I used to have the kit...

The only thing I didn't like about the kit was how the side skirts were so stock looking...
