Default Sit down and decide: Supra seats or A4s?

im heading out to college in about a month and i have officially hit the ceiling of my car (I'm 6'4" BTW). As much as I love the nice squishy seats, the head room problem overcomes the cushioning need of my ***. so here is the dilemma.

I used my little noggin to do some searching on the CL forums like a good member should do (noobs take note). From what i've researched, i've narrrowed it down to 2 seats.

Supra seats
Corbeau A4s

now before everyone types in "why the (explitive) would you go for the A4s? Supra seats are cheaper!" let me give out some more info. This coming monday im looking at a pair of supra seats. $120 for both. good price, only prob is that they're tan and i have a black int. i could just re-rap them in leather along with the rears, only problem is that it would be upwards of $750 to do so. Ive been looking for black supra seats for the past few months with no luck. Im running out of patience and time so i considered the aftermarket option. The A4s seemed nice, with extra 2-3 inches and not to hard on the wallet ($600 for seats, $200 for brackets). Little less than the Supra + re wrap option. So now its come down to this, asking the members of CL to decide my fate. Lets see what the opinions are.

I will weigh in here. I would NEVER buy another set of Corbeaus, I had them in my Nissan. They were pieces of ****, fabric and stitching was un-impressive and weak. I was extremely dissatisfied with them!!! I would do the poopra seats over corbeaus ANY day, my poopra seats are treating me well. Why dont you try and find black supra seats with good leather?

I believe they make seat rails that lower the height of the seat, but not sure if you get to keep the power option. Here is a link: http://www.more-japan.com/Nagisa-Aut...p-2-c-374.html

Supra seats sit you about 2-3 inches shorter than stock so they could be used as a temporary alternative.

I am 6'3". I have to sink down quite a bit in the stock seat to lack claustrophobia in relation to the roof of the interior.

But, I would definitely view Supra seats as a permanent rather than a temporary alternative. I am going to buy them eventually, and they will be the last seats I ever buy.

power adjustment isn't too much of a concern for me. JUst as long as i can move my head around is fine with me. I plan to go club racing sometime in the future, so the A4's are a potent alternative.

heres a link to the A4

another member from a while back said he liked them a lot, ill try to pull up the thread later today
