Default Spoiler LED

Has anyone ever had their spoiler led lights go out? I thought these were supposed to last for a very long time... Might the failure of the lights have something to do with the wiring (sometimes happens on the LS)? How do I go about replacing the led lights? Thanks.

This may be related to your other electrical problems. LEDs are interesting in the fact that they need a minimum voltage to turn them on. Measuring the voltage at the LED array should tell you something.

There should be a cable on one of the trunk lid arms that supplies the LED bank. If you're careful, you can pierce the insulation and put a voltmeter on it. If you pull out the LED assembly, you could do the same test at the connector.
