Default Hyper Voltage System

Hey all,

Looking into different Hyper Voltage Systems for my 5sp SC300.

Does anyone have a particular unit that they have experience with and would reccomend for my car?

Thanks!

I had one of the Sun Auto ones (low rpm torque) on my Supra. not a major diff but I could tell there was a slightly faster response. my headlights also got brighter when the unit was connected, lol.

is it possible that installing a hypervoltage system could shorten the life of my alternator / electrical components???

i've had it on my car and took it off as it just kept on drawing too much power.

it basically acts as a capacitor for the battery, which imo is not needed if you have a properly running alternator. the car runs off the alternator anyways once the engine is started.

fyi, my battery is relocated to the trunk. at nights, when i'm at a stoplight with my hid lows and fogs on, along with my wideband, afc, edfc, etc... my wideband would immediately put out a E9 (no power), which was remedied by a slight blip of the throttle. After doing some research, found out a civic had put one on as well and experienced similar electrical losses. So i tried it, removed the sucker, and what do you know... no more E9 errors.
