Default ls430 brakes?

Ok i have searched, i typed in ls430 brakes, ls430 calipers, ls430 conversions in the sc300/sc400 suspension and brakes section and came out with not much information.

Well heres my question, what does it take to do a 01-06 ls430 brake conversion on sc300? does it only require the basic things such as: calipers, rotors, pads, and ofcourse custom brackets? is that all? how much does this setup usually run? i know it is not as cost efficient as the ls400 and the supra tt setup so please lets stay off that argument, i just like to get the facts.

From searching i found out that the ls430 brakes are basically the same size as supra tt but all aluminum which in turns makes it alot lighter due to the size. My other question is that is the rotor bigger than the supra tt? if so how much?

There was a guy with a GS that has a set of gold ls430 calipers on his car, i pmed him for informations but i thought someone here might know something about it . Thanks guys!!

The issue revolves around the fact that those particular calipers are not plug n play on either model and will require a bracket to make them fit. LS4 calipers are a direct fit for our cars. I have a set waiting to be installed as we speak. LS430 calipers mount differently than the LS4's, so the consensus is that they will not bolt right on. I simply provided the link so that you can source the brackets. If you can get them to work via another method, right on, please share bc you'll have quite a few fans.

i already have ls430 calipers and plenty of 7075 alloy. i'm waiting on rotors, then i'll start to machine some brackets. unfortunately, the sc and ls400 rear caliper mounts are different, so i need to make 2 rear sets. sc drivers arent the only owners that like upgrades

the 95-00 ls400 and 01-06 ls430 rotors are the same diameter. the only advantage is that the 430 calipers are monoblock and weigh less because of the absense of steel torx cap screws that join both halves.

yes, i have access to cnc equipment. i'm debating whether to have them anodized though, i dont think my coater likes to add tinting dye to his tanks for short runs of small parts and the standard solution produces a sort of ivory/creme colored coating. i get some of my parts from the family body shop's used part guys. i asked how much i owed for them, my uncle laughed and told me a bottle of grey goose would be enough to compensate.

no, as of right now only 2-3 members i know of have these brakes and they arent very forthcoming with templates (though i cant blame them, they prolly cost a pretty penny to have made)
