HELP: removing interior parts
shifter. engage ebrake, shift to N, slide down sheath, 2 screws.
armrest. open, remove bottom fabric, 4 10mm bolts (i think).
gear indicator. i believe just pulls right up, lol.
cup holder. pulls out, 2 screws under it.
remove screws for the dash panel, maybe 6-8, and then pull out (rear plugs)
4 10mm bolts holding AC and radio in there, remove all that.
pop off caps on side rear of either side of the steering wheel
unhook battery
remove those hex screws and the airbag will come off
remove steering wheel.
look under steering wheel, and remove the screws for the steering colum.
then work on all the kick plate area stuff. just screws here and there.
glove box. some screws outside, then a few inside. (remember to hook the release when you put it back in. i forgot, and had to pry my glove box opened and then replace it cuz i busted it.)
remove gauges. bottom pulls out, then 4 i think on the cluster. 3 plugs in back
that will reveal a bunch more screws, lol.
thats about all i can remember in detail. i've done up to here many times. i've only had the front dash out twice though. pretty much, you'll see bolts and screws, take them out, and set them in cups with labels to where they went. keep takin out bolts and screws until it comes out. some don't remove the steering wheel, i felt it was way easier to remove it. good luck, and this was prolly a waste because i'm sure there a way better DIY on the forums somewhere. just felt like typing and testing my memory, lol.

got some of the pre treating cleaner, then a few cans of the black. i used 2 cans doing the front dash and the center area. the plastic dash and console panel i used a flat spray paint.
i did a black IS300 steering wheel, got a black ebrake boot, rewraped the arm rest in black, and removed the tan vinyl from the shifter, so it looked way better after that, mainly after getting that hideous wheel out of there, but you get the idea of what the dash looked like. i painted the front wood pieces with an airbrush and used a clear also.

i changed my whole interior twice..(i swapped interior from one car to the other)...dash was the worst part, since i didnt remove the steering wheel, it took 2 people to help guide it out without breaking anything.
be careful with the wiring harness...its taped up along the dash just slide the tape off the little plastic clips and unscrew the little control box under the dash
make sure all ur screws are out, look at the write up i posted here and it should show u all the hidden screws
and the dash should pop str8 up
I think i can do it with my eyes closed now hahaha
