Cluster Ideas?
Ok, I made a thread about this, but the server wasnt functioning properly, so here goes:
Short question:
Does anyone have the wiring diagrams of the SC so I can know the various voltages of the components that go into the gauges? Like the speedo, tach, and fuel gauge?
I'm looking into retrofitting a Maxima gauge cluster, as it's a pretty good fit, and i'm familiar with it.
The IS300 cluster I was planning to do is a bit pricey.
Thanks,
-Freddy

I know what each wire does, I just need the individual voltages.
:-D
In the nissan wiring diagrams I worked with before, they all had troubleshooting diagrams, in which they explained the voltage ranges. I can't test the voltage, the car would have to be running in the entire rev range and entire speedo range for it to be correct.
no one can point me in the right direction?
Perhaps the FSM has them, but I dont want to take the gamble, because the'yre pretty expensive. Unless soeon wants to let me know where I can download them, a site like www.phatg20.net or something.

there are pages upon pages in Mitchell with these voltages listed... thing is, they are listed as trouble shooting voltages, not just a list, so, every light, every gauge should have different listings and a different page...

That's exact;y what i'm looking for, where can i get this?
the lights are usually a 12v source, i just need the readings for the gauges themselves.
