they are stock, when i went to my lexus dealer today to get my key made i asked them and the said they were stock they were put on 25% of the sc's and the rest you had the option to purchase the package or not when you purchased the sc
Hmmmm, my rims are stock too. They weren't released until 1997 (about), and they're on my '92 so they MUST be stock rims for 92!
Until I see a brochure showing them as an option they are not stock.
And BLove, it won't say Lexus. If they're OEM they'll say Toyota.
Wow you are an angry man ...my point was if I saw them on two different SCs myself in GA. (that are bone stock driven by old ladies) and others in different parts of the country have seen them on SCs Then they have to be a Stock option. They are not that hot of a wheel to be on that many cars in that tiny size on purpose.(plus they probably say BBS in the inside)

Reason: grammar
I think we need to differentiate between factory options and "DO's" or dealer options...
When you're in the dealer's parts department, they usually have "custom" wheels on display, but they're not Toyota wheels. They're just aftermarket wheels that fit Lexi, for which the dealers want waaay too much $$.
I have seen those wheels a lot too, but I don't think they were factory optional wheels. The early SC3's came with wheels that were similar, but that ain't them.

Not angry at all. Just very tired of seeing gross misinformation spread throughout this site!!!!
Read strongsail's post. Factory stock and Dealer option are two different things.
They look ALMOST exactly like the ones that were a dealer option. Slight differences, maybe these were a later year model than my 92. Strange to see them in gold with no center cap though.
My Car:
now THOSE ^^^^ I've never seen before. But the Gold ones I have, tonnes of times on a stock SC and always assumed they were just a different wheel variation on stock SC's..

IDK what to tell you, The car was bought brand new in 1992 by my grandfather and I believe he purchased these wheels from North Park Lexus in San Antonio in 93(fairly sure). They are definatley dealer option because the spare is the still in the original style wheel (still have all 4 of those)
