Default Car Running Rich On Startup?

Is this normal? I always smell a gasoline smell on startup and this always happens when the engine is cold. Also, the gas needle seems to drop a touch on startup on cold starts.

The cold start maps (ones it uses before the O2 sensor is hot) dump more fuel into the engine than it does while warm. Likely that's the cause of the smell, since the car is running rich.

Nope, we're in one of those extended stay hotels. Pretty cool...has a kitchen and stuff, maid service, and is just over $1000 a month.

I found a couple condo's on the beach in North Miami, one in Hollywood, and one in Pompano. The only one with good parking was the one in Hollywood. I'm not about to park my Lex somewhere that's not totally enclosed. Plus most places only allow 1, MAYBE 2 vehicles, and I've gotta have a place for 3 and a boat :/ And a place I can have cats.

That is actually a better deal your getting at extended stay than you will get at most rental homes with garages. Even out in West Broward, apts start out around $1000 a month and those are old ones. Are you looking at rental homes or apts?

Well the extended stay price goes up in Jan. due to the high season....to $1500 a month.

I've found a ton of apartments, without garages, but in a gated complex, for around 800 - 900 a month. Found a couple nice houses too. Big problem, is until I have a fulltime job, they won't give me a house/apt. Damn.

I found apartments in Pembroke Pines, Coconut Creek, and Aventura that are gated access, and seem damn nice. Coco ck is prolly too far north for me. The other two are good.

What places where you looking at in Pines? I believe you said you were going to be working in Miramar. That would be the closest to your job then.

The area is pretty good. I believe that is west of University, only problem with the area is it will get pretty crowded, especially during rush hour (but much of pines is packed anyways).
