power lock is not working

Default power lock is not working

alright i got a problem chime in if you can
the power lock button doesn't work, but the unlock button works fine
the same goes for the remote. it will unlock if the car is locked, but wont lock.
any ideas?

oh yeah this problem started after the alarm went off

Might be some kind of problem with the lock control unit, maybe somebody else can chime in with some help, but what part of TN are you in, I'm in Nashville and I know a few other SC people in Nashville as well.

I bet you've already tried this but make sure all the doors are closed and trunk closed, look in on the dash to make sure it registers because I know the car won't lock if something is registering as open.

im in greeneville a 5 hour drive from nashville

anyone that can help?
its really annoying locking both doors manually

I have it the other way around. My doors will lock but won't unlock. I had an alternator put in my 92 and the mechanic jacked up something and refused to admit fault. You have to be very careful of who works on your car. Even the Lexo stealership tore my leather seat and refused to admit fault. I'm scared to bring my car to get serviced in fear that they will break or damage something on the car.
