mine does the same thing. I think it actually unlocks about 20% of the time. The other 80%, nothing. Very frustrating...

Take out your driver's side fender wheel lining which is directly under your fender panel...From there you will see a black hood release cable, pull on it and your hood should open..

Same here. First it was the shocks, then I came across the thread to repair them. So now that I know how to fix it, I try to pop open the truck using the lever and I don't even hear a click. I gotta open it with my key manually...

Mine does the same. It opens sometimes. Gazi, how easy is the repair job for somebody with "limited" mechanical abilities?

I had this prob for a while now. I looked a the actuator cable and it seemed fine. I can still open up my trunk, just have to do it manually. So the only problem is the cabin switch if you don't hear the click in the back!! If you hear the click in the back and your trunk dosent open it's the actuator cable, its probably broken or stuck on something!

I can open manually with the key but I don't hear a click when i pull the lever, so I guess mine is the cabin switch? Where is that located? Sorry, I don't know much about trunks... lol...

Okay, now mine stopped working, and I was hoping this thread had some answers; but no.
Anyone have an idea? Mine doesn't click. Key works. So I need a new...????
