Hey guys. i just bought a 95 Sc300, Manual. I got her today. For some reason I see a green light in the dash, you know where speedometer is. It is right in the center and looks like a light bulb. I looked through the manual and found nothing. Has anyone seen this light before. I use to have a 94 SC and I have I never had that. Ill post pics up soon. Its blueish gray with black interior.

I think it means your headlights are on. At least that's what I remember from my friends '95 ES.
Congrats on buying the SC, can't wait to see some pics.

Yup that is what it is.

I do wish it worked differently. I think in the "auto" light setting,it should come on when the light is on.

However, on my 98, the sign comes up whether my light is auto or I manually turn it on. DOH. If I turn my light on manually at night, I don't need a light IN the instrument cluster telling me the lights are on, I can see outside

Genius Lexus engineers at work. I think it should be AUTO/DRL setting only, but what do I know. I studied law and not engineering.

 

Now, now. Let's just remember that not all Lexus drivers are as smart as WE are, so that light is to inform the "lowest common denominator".

 

Could mean there are ALIENS around also!!!
