No, no, I'm not talking about the "bar" or supermarket kind of pick-up. I'm referring to the acceleration from a standing start in our 93 Lexus SC300. We've had the car about 2 months now and all of a sudden it seems as if when you step on the gas there is something holding the petal "back", or maybe it just feels that way since the car takes its' sweet time picking up speed.
The transmission shifts fine through all of the gears, and other than from 0 mph, i.e. at a traffic light, the car still seems to have good "zip".
Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea's on what I could or should do to solve the problem. FYI - The car has 95,000 miles on it. Thanks for all your help. MHM
