my tranny seems to have a bump / vibration when i slow down under 10mph whether braking or not...

anyone else have this problem? what is the cause and how do i fix it. its annoying.

i've been searching for a while and found plenty of vibrations and shakes but nothing similar.

 

this happens to me too when my OD is off

 

i can feel it right around the 10 mph mark when decelerating

 

Have your axles checked out some places like Lee Myles Transmissons do it for free..

 

it happens when the o/d light at the cluster is off . didnt try it with the light on.

 

maybe your injectors are dirty? that was the case with mine... get lucas oil fuel injector cleaner...or seafoam would probably clean em up too, but id go with the lucas, plus its like 2 bucks

 

happens sometimes in my car when it's cold...i figured it was my tranny starting to give out...iunno

 

Mine has a similar problem.
Except I know it's my brakes...
My rotors are shot and I haven't had a chance to swap them out. I have new rotors ready to go in but it's cold. And I'm not even driving the SC in the Winter.
It feels nice to be driving the ES, saving a lot of money on gas. However it is not as fun.

 

when cold my tranny have a clunk when downshifting but i hope its my bad tranny mount

 

ye i need to change the mount most likely but i hope its not the tranny

 

Do you have aftermarket rims? Could be they're bent.

 

i had 19s on before and but now im rollin stock and i felt it in both cases... if i let the car slow to a stop without pressing the brakes at all, at the 10 mark it jerks for a second. im thinking its something with downshift at second to first or first to neutral?

 

so i guess this is a rare situation
