Just wanted to review the "OEM" wing from ebay for those who are considering a cheaper version. Its made of fiberglass and is pretty smooth, grey and unprimered.




Question: How do u mount this thing?
Better question: How do I drill holes on the trunk lid to fit the wing precisely?

There are 5 hole under the wing for 5 screws provided. It also comes with 5 washers and 5 foam padding with holes for the screws.

 

how does it compare to oem?

 

cut a template and mount the template on your trunk...draw in circle for the holes and drill away...or take it to the body shop you are gonna have paint it, and have them paint and install..generally speaking if you have them paint it they'll install it for free after its painted

 

did it come with the LED strip?

Comparing it to OEM...i have no basis of comparison...maybe someone can input. I have not seen the OEM wing up close.

Yes, it came with the lamp....but i dont really know if its led...and i don't really know if it even has bulbs in there...havent tried plugging it in yet.
