Talking Ek tuning headers!!

hi everyone
ive been on the forum for a while but rarely post
well i just got a reply from Ek tuning and he said that he is willing put together a group buy for us.
and i know that they must be a vendor to be able to this
maybe one of the MODS can make this possible?

You need to start the ball rolling by FIRST speaking with a moderator, THEN you arrange the group buy.

oh... i guess my post was a little misleading
i'm not trying to start a group buy
what happen is that i send them an email regarding their headers and mention clublexus
he responded that he's willing to do a group buy for clublexus
and i know u need to be a vendor to start a group buy (which im not, just informing)
but i do not know then, what's the process of becoming one (now i do, speak with a moderator )

I'm interested if someone would chime in and give their experience with actually owning a set--- I've never seen anyone actually say they own them on here.

here is an email he sent me

**The price will not go down as it is an expensive part to make (made out of SUS304 stainless steel). I am willing to offer a group discount, however i e-mailed club lexus a few months ago and never got a respond. If you would like to post on your own and let people know we are willing to give a discount that would be great.

If we can get 10 people then i can do the headers for $899.00 plus shipping. Or if we can get 20 people then i can do it for $799.00 plus shipping.**

so if no one interested it's not gonna happen

As per club rules:

Group Buys
Group Buys (GB) are allowed ONLY in conjunction with a Club Lexus authorized vendor. ‘Gathering interest’ group buy posts are also not allowed without the prior support of an authorized Club Lexus vendor which can be coordinated directly through the vendor or requested of moderators or the forum administrator. Linking to group buys sponsored by non-CLUB LEXUS vendors or on other forums is not allowed.

Inappropriate GB posts will be promptly closed or removed without notice.

I think we'd be better off setting up a group buy on the Tex headers, as I actually got a reply from those guys the same day I emailed them-- plus they're a true long tube and have shown some serious results with countless dyno sheets to back it up, and we don't have anything but a picture of the EK headers-- and some sketchy info at best--
