New Tint Job, 20% around, but 3M logo stuck on it?
I got a new tint job 20% all the way around. I had 5% in the back and 20% on the front windows done by me, but it was autozone and it was fading, so I paid to have it removed, paid an extra $40 for the lifetime tint instead of the tint with the 3yr warranty. The guys kept telling me how they do all the sherriff's cars, highway patrol, local police and they are always coming in telling them how they get people for the 5% tint, but I've had my own 5% on the car (it was dark!), and been pulled over 3 times, never asked once about how dark my tint was.
Anyways, the job is good but I have 3M lettering 3 times across each of the front two windows. Now, they had to of noticed this. Its not on any of the other windows on the car, but this shouldn't be here. I was just curious as to if anybody knew if it would fade or not and dissapear. It seems to me that nobody would want this on any window anywhere so there has to be a way to remove it, or it wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. I tried window cleaning but it appears to be in between the tint and the window.
Pics will follow tomorrow, it was getting dark when I picked up my car.

Sweet, the rubbing alcohol worked. I figured the windex would take it off since I thought it had alcohol in it, but I looked closer and this kind doesn't. I'll get er all washed up tomorrow and take some good pics.
3M is the company that makes the film.

They didn't have lifetime warranty tint in 5% darkness. I also decided 20 was dark enough, I could still see a little at night and nobody could tell who's driving. All 5% does is let other people question if anybody's driving!
