fuel pressure issue

Okay guys and gals!

tried to search but found nothing. My wife's 93 SC400 was dropping fuel this weekend. I tracked down the line and this is what I found. The vacuum line that runs from the gas tank that is supposed to carry vapors is carrying fuel up to the vaccum canister. It fills up while driving and then drains out the bottom. There is an unusual amount of pressure when the gas cap is opened. So, I replaced it, no such luck! Anyone have any ideas of what is going on. For a temporary fix, I have cracked the cap and it is working.

sounds like a breather hose for the tank might be pinched check for clogged or pinched hoses around the tank area

got the same exact problem right now, wonder what it could be??? Mine just started doing it out of the blue. Kinda costly.

maybe its not relieving the pressure so it builds up and then that happens.
maybe you should look at the vsv for the evap canister and the canister itself.
