Recently my windows have not been going down when the doors are closed. Only the passenger window goes down using the passenger window switch but it won't go back up. The drivers side switch will open neither window unless the door is open about a foot. Does anyone know what's wrong? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the cluster as the problems occurred a day after I replaced my cluster.

If it only works when open about a foot, it is in that position that the worn wires that run through that door are making contact. Any other position, and the worn wire is fully disconnected.
Look for that broken wire in the door hinge area that bends as the door is opened.
