Just this past week my 94 sc4 was the victim of a hit and run. There is fender, headlight and bumper damage. I have a vertex full body kit and I'm not willing to shell out the money to buy another one just for the same thing to happen again. I was thinking about purchasing the hyper knock off body kit. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I am aware that there will be some fitment problems. I just want to know if you had any major problems with the install. Thanks.

 

No 2 knock off kits are alike so fitment will vary.

Why not just buy another bumper? it is just a bumper and be careful next time? I would say that out of all of the knock off kits, those fake rear bumpers fit pretty well anyway.

 

Thanks for the input bro. It was actually my front bumper and it was parked when it happened. I'm pretty good with auto body repair so as long as there are no major problems with the knock offs I should be able to handle the install. My front bumper is ripped beyond repair. So has anyone had any terrible experiences with knock offs?

 

I have a lil knock off all around but i modified it a bit...I had no problems at all with it.... Which one are you looking at?

 

I'm looking at the hyper right now. I might change my mind and get a vertex knock off.
