Default Finally picked up a SC300

Well I have been lurking for a while just recently started posting. I have been looking for a SC300 5-speed off and on for the last 2 years at least. I had to settle with an auto but thats fine. I really needed a nice daily driver that would be reliable and that I could put on some suspension and rims and look nice. I have owned 240s since 2001 or so. I go by 574-240sx on most of the nissan/240 boards.

I picked up my 97 SC300 RSP/Black, 105k, auto, just outside of Milwaukee this past weekend. I love it so far, all the options are great and its a real smooth well build car. Feels a little heavy at times and underpowered but I can live with that.

Here are a few pics, most turned out like crap due to a crappy camera, batteries almost being dead and me not being able to take pics.

Engine bay is stock and decently clean I just forgot to take any pics.

Wow... those are some beautiful cars dude. Is that a GP sports kit on that S14? I'm not sure about the name, but there's a very nice black S14 around my area that has it.
As to the motor, LS1? I count 8 cylinders and it looks like a plastic intake manifold...

I plan on some rims and suspension and doing a manual swap in the spring hopefully. I have converted several 240s to manual so that isn't a big deal. Maybe a motor swap down the road if I can sell a kidney.

Its a Version Select kit, basically a knock off of Vertex. I fitted the kit only thing I didn't do was paint the car. I did all the work and labor.

The motor is a late 2001 LS1, came stock with the LS6 intake manifold. Still gathering parts for the swap and wiring up Megasquirt.

Yeah I wanted a black interior which is pretty hard to find. I wanted black/black or silver/black but I had a hard time finding one. As soon as I did it was sold. Finding a 5-speed is near impossible. So I settled on this and it was decently close.
