Default spraypaint seats?

im going to try and spraypaint my leather spurce seats in black. what do you guys think?

bad idea. It will crack after you sit on it a few time and more than likely come off on your clothes. I wouldn't do it. If you want to change the color, dye it properly.

i agree - horrible idea. i would feel bad for the poor car with spray-painted seats. that lexus just needs some love!

Dont do it....just spend the cash and get covers/skins.

dyeing the car would be the same as spraypaint, it will come off. right i would want to dye it but thought spraypainting the seats would be faster and easier. and give the same effect as a dye

If dyed properly it won't come off on your clothing, but it will fade with time. I had forgotten about seat covers, you could go that route as well.

Dying is a very permenant long term solution.

Dye penetrates into the viynl or leather and pigments the color to leave a permenant color change. It may fade but due to ware and tear. A proper dye job will tint the fabric right down to the bone.
