how much did it cost? how much is total after paint and all. i agree 97+ is the best. i think bodykits are played out.

YEH i think the body kits are really played out.. but there are one or two that look good... imo the wald ex kit looks great .. I did the 97+ front bumper. its easy.
FYI, I have (2) 97+ conversions and (1) Auto Couture Kit on a 92 as well as a 93 and the front is a direct fit but the only thing that I ran into was when I installed the 97+ OEM fog lights, you have to remove the AC bracket (I think it's that) and the fog will push it in alittle to clear. Also if you don't want to purchase a 97+ foam for inside of the bumper, you 'll have to shave the foam down (no biggie) Just thought you'd like to know that.
I personally am installing the pre 97 lip on my 97+ front, so it'll match my Exclusive Side Skirts and Rear Valance. The 97+ front was alittle to high and didn't match but with the pre 97 lip it's perfect, it kinda looks like the Auto Couture.
well i got 2 quotes today on my paint and stuff. The first place quoted me 600 bucks to install and paint. I heard the shop doesnt do a good job so their out of the question. teh second shop is my buddies dad's friends shop. to uninstall everything, front, back, sides install, paint with high qualilty paint as they put it, lol, they recomended i use PPG paint so thats what im going and their also going to cut and buff the entire car. TOTAL= 1100-1200 bucks off the top of his head. DEAL OR NO???? Maybe this is what someone might also be looking at. This isnt my thread, sorry but for some ideas.

Good luck and post some pics.
So U are using the pre 97 lip on your 97 bumper? I always wondered if that worked..any pics?
not to thread jack, but im thinking of a mix matching... i have a full vertex kit, but i wanna get rid of the front bumper and get like a stock bumper w/ lip, but not sure whut lips are available for the 97+ bumpers...
Correct, I am using the pre 97 lip on the 97+ bumper, it lines up very well but I have to cut the lip in half and extend it by 4 inches. I probably can't finish the project until after Christmas...but I'll keep you updated.
