Hello all... I'm new to the forum, Just got my 92 SC300 about a month ago, was looking for wiring info to install an aftermarket deck and I came across this website, Just thought I'd Introduce my self and show a few pics...

I traded a bike for this car since winter is near and the bike was my only transpertation. The guy gave me the SC and $1,000 for this... 2003 GSXR 1000

I miss the bike alot, But I also Like the SC300 alot, from viewing this forum I see there's many things you can do to this car.... Can't wait to get started!!!

Was thinking of lowering it, Does anyone know if you have to install camber kits to keep the alignment on these cars?

Depends on whether or not you'll need the camber kit.

It depends on how much you lower, your wheel setup (width, offset), your tire size, and the condition of the rest of your suspension components, coilovers vs. springs, if springs will you be upgrading shocks, etc.

In most cases, the Eibach Pro-Kit (stated 1" lowering, really about 1.5") does not require a camber kit, but the Espelir springs (stated 1.8" lowering, really about 2.1"-2.2") generally do require the camber kit. I have the espelir springs with Tokico HP shocks, but my setup does not require a camber kit as I am within factory specs after my alignment.

I think with coilovers, you will most certainly need a camber kit.

Welcome to the forum, good looking on those GS/IS wheels!

Thanks for the Welcome... I installed an Alpine CDA-9853 MP3/WMA CD Receiver, 2 12" Treo Subs/750RMS a piece Powered with a Planet Audio Apm/1250rms... The amp is a little underpowred for the speakers, but it still sounds great...

Welcome Sandstone brother!

For a 1.5 inch drop, look into Espelir or Supra TT Eibach springs.
