Everytime I shift the car into Drive the car jerks VERY hard. This only happens when I put it into drive. The rest of the time the car runs fine and shifts okay. I took it to a Lexus specialty shop and they told me it was the tranny mount... I had that changed and its still doing it. Does anyone know what it could be?

 

My ride does this once in a while when i'm rolling back to fast and i shift to drive, or when its really cold out.

 

you might try a tranny flush -- the SC400 manual states you should replace your fluid every 15k miles. Burned fluid can do funky things -- it defiantely did with my SC4.

That could be it. I havent changed the tranny fluid since I purchased the vehicle and I have no idea when the last time was since the previous owner did. I will try it tomorrow and let you guys know how it works, thanks.

 

I've heard that it could be cause by a worn differential mount/bushing (?)

 

I never felt like wanking when I put it in drive so much as I felt like crawling under the hood and having sex with the engine after I put it in park.
