Someone gave me a broken 97 tail a while back to fool around with and I finally gutted it. Figured I'd post a look inside the tail.








These pieces are removable.

That's what I dig about you OLT, dare to explore....man without your bordom, we wouldn't have most of the DIY's on this site!

Try and put the red bottom piece of the 93 without the orange top apart inside of that then put the 97+ pinkish lensa over it! That would be sweet!!!!

Sorry, I'm very partial to the 93 tails!!!

that is so helpful, ive been contemplating taking apart my friends 97 tails to see if what she wants is possible, but i diddnt want to take them apart and realize its not, now i know for sure and it wont be a waste of time, thanks

How did you deal with the key lock mechanism....disconnecting it from the plastic and reconnecting it?
