If it's the red lounge... been there. cool vibe....I should be back down there for a "party" with the folks, so I'll PM when I get ready to roll down there. About to go wash the ride up ( SC400 ), take a few last shots of it... and get all of my personal possessions out of it.... the GS shows up tonight, so I get it in the morning.

 

A fond farewell to the beloved SC. I wouldn't have the heart to get rid of mine so it's hard to understand. I've thought about it a few times but realize there is little chance of it. So you're braver than me. It doesn't seem like you need the extra trade in cash so I guess you're just ready for a change. I'd get the GS and keep the SC but do your thing man.

The thing is I'm gettin' ready to build another home... buying land, paying all these stupid costs associated with design / permits / engineering of a new custom home, plus I am lookin' to lease the home I'm in... so if no one occupies it... 2 house notes.... and then 3 vehicles... 2 of which are out of warranty... so all costs are solely on me, ...and the coupe is in the zone with time for stuff to be replaced or soon to be repaired.... I don't want to spend more money on THAT car.... I've done all I plan to do with it and have had it for 5 yrs,...which is the longest I've ever kept any car.

I just spent $2500 for a stupid circuit board repair,...that althought I could afford,...didn't want to spend on that.... that could have mod's for the GS.

The next possible thing for me to buy for that car would be a turbo kit, if anyone ever decided to sell such.... and that'd easily be another $12 - 18K for a car with 210K miles.... wasn't a wise spend of money in my mind.

I waver with it... but it's time to change it up... and do it how I really wanna do it in a couple of years. Plus I gotta rule... my cars cannot sit outside at night,... NO WHERE!!! except mom's house.... and I only have a two car garage... and the hassle of moving cars around would make me mad!
