i Have 1jz single after install run good on key cycle now runs bad acting like hits rev limiter and is now filling exhaust with fuel help!! Have reset ECU and checked everything can think of

almost sounds like its pulling timing!!! i need help!!! anyone out there can help let me know!!!

no it cant.......its at 1600 rpms......in park so im not moving, hense no boost

Should have bought an SC400 V8 (1ux-fe)... .Never had a problem or break down with my 300whp+ SC400 with 105,000 miles on it...I hammer it on a daily bases....Actually the auto tranny went out under the juice last month.

"Gentlemen we had to rebuild it, better then it was before, better, stronger, faster"....(not a triptronic but bionic auto tranny)...

My bad...Had one issue....

 

Have you checked the plugs and coils for cracks? Also check your map sensor.

 

actually i just bought new plugs, NGK Irinium, this problem was going on and i thought the plugs were going to fix it, i gapped them to 35. Also i havent checked for crackes yet, i will tomorrow, also i have a new problem...the car spit out LIQUID fuel out the exhaust??? any takers on that one....too rich? inj stuck open?? what....

 

Sounds like the injectors are stuck open. Friend of mine had the same problem and he changed them and it worked out fine.

 

Wayne, I really like your SC as it looks alot like mine....Except yours is putting out about 100whp more then mine....I would still race you 0-60 for kicks.....I might just win too...Nice ride anyway.

Gapped to .35?! Most 1JZ guys gap to .28.

 

ill try to gap them lower.....injector 4 was stuck open!!!! thanks for the help!! i appreciate it

 

.35 is almost n/a gap. i'd try to keep it around .25-.28 if i were you
