Ok I need help desideing on with car to get.

1. There is a 93 sc300, black, 140,000 miles, auto, runs but not that good, good body and interion for $2,600.

2.Or a 93 sc300, gold, 120,000 miles 5speed, runs great, good body and interior for $6,000.

if you can work on cars yourself buy the cheapie. If not buy the one that runs good or you'll HAVE $6000 in the other one by the time you get everything fixed.

I say go for the gold one, its a 5-spd

Man O.L.T. I seen the title and and your name from the 'Lexus Model Forum' page and I thought it was you asking on what car to get, I was about to say,"not another one", lol

lol Thats the only thing holding me back from getting the gold one I hate the color. I dont mind working on my cars. Im prety machincly inclinded. The black one runs just ps pump out(no problem), when ideling it always at 1500 rpm, and he says it shakes. Only resons i dont want black one is because its auto(no fun)

i wouldnt pay 6k on a 93 with 120000 miles, but thats also because im 16 so.....

120k is baby stage for an SC. $6k is not a BAD price if it is in good shape.

If you don't like the color, you'll regret it until you paint it, which, if you're anything like me, you'll never get around to doing. I'd get the black or wait for another one to show up. $6k for a 120k '92 is too much anyway. I just paid $7.8k for my flawless '97 black on black (though with 160k).

Thats a good idea if you were ever concidering going 1JZ

Sandstone is a good color IMO

Painting the car is majorly expensive, especially when you're looking for good work and a total repaint.
