Don't know about the arms but, my fingers are like banannas. Forgive me on the procedure. It was like a year or year and a half ago. I was doing the spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotors plus the inexperience of doing this for the first time. I suggest utilizing the factory service manual. It really does help.

I did use the OEM belt though. There were no arrows on it. If I recall correctly. I don't think my old belt had arrows either.
