Default Help me please!! Memory seat prob..

Okay I have searched numerous times and being an "OG" I should have already found an answer...but I haven't. I simply don't know how to operate my memory seats. My vehicle was bought used and came with no instruction book(bastards)!!. I have tried playing with the buttons and nothing happens. I figured it's probably not working but can some one give me some simple instructions on how to use them. Please don't flame me!!!! I honestly tried to search first thanks

this is what i do...

1. Turn on Engine and leave it in "park"

2. Adjust the seat to where you want it

3. Hold down 1 or 2 on the memory seat button until you hear a little "beep"

4. Done.

kind of, you have to hold the other button (i don't remember off the top of my head, but not the 1 or the 2 button) and then you hold down one or two then it will beep at you.

1. Car must be in Park with key turned to Acc or engine on
2. Set the seat (and outside mirrors) to how you like them
3. Press and hold "set" button and with another finger press the "1" or "2" button to save your setting
4. Anyways, you will then hear a beep confirming that it's saved

Ebrake must be on and your foot cannot be resting on the brake (or so says my 96 5spd).
