Default Question about the Third Brake Light

I have recently replaced the entire interior from my 95 Tan Sc300 to a 99 Black Interior.

My question is that, when I took out the third brake light from the old tan interior, and i replaced it with the black one. It did not have the brake light around the speaker cover area, so I installed the new one without the brakelight and left the wiring hanging there.

I think this may set off the tail-light out light (which was on to being with..hehe)...but do you guys think it would give me any problems later on?

Just get your tan one with the brake light recovered in black so you can use it. It's not the greatest idea to be running around without your 3rd brakelight...

It shouldn't cause any problems besides maybe a fast blinker and the bulb out failure light that you already have...

you should recover it by yourself, it was SO simple to do, jsut get some grill cloth and then some spray on glue and away you go, just make sure everything is stretched out pretty good.

Or, you could install an LED spoiler and remove the 3rd brake light from the interior

Just dye the tan cover black. I used some fabric dye called Rit dye ( i think) And it turned out great. I used the stuff a while back to dye my 3000gt carpet black and it turned out looking new!
